Let us pretend that the two cities are 900 km apart and the air speed is 300km/hr. What is the total time taken by the airplane to travel back and forth with no wind speed? b) If it encounters a mild steady tailwind (100km/h) while going i) What is the ground speed and the time taken by airplane? ii) if the steady tail wind is equal to air speed, what is the time taken while going. c) If it encounters a mild steady headwind (100km/h) while returning i) What is the ground speed and the time taken by airplane. ii) What is the total time taken by the plane for the round trip? d) i) If the wind speed is equal to air speed then what is the time taken while going? ii) If the wind speed is equal to the headwind, what is the time taken for the round trip?
