plsss. help me with this question I need an answer until this 8:00 p.m
julio and lito start at the same time from two towns 90km. apart traveling towards each other, julio's rate is five km faster than lito's. they met after two hours. find the average speed of each. |

It's your lucky day.
We know the distance d = 90 km
and the speed of each
one is 5 km/hr faster i.e. v + 5
-v
the time taken is 2 hrs
t = 2
keeping everything in km/hr, km and hrs.
d - (v+5) t = v t
90 - 2v - 10 = 2v
80 = 4v
v = 80/4 = 20 km/hr
v + 5 = 25 km/hr |
